Never fear, dear. Any time I visit people it's to see THEM not do a white-glove test. I happen to have an Olympic Quality Collection of Dust Bunnies, I'll have you know. Heating with wood contribtes handily.

I will share how to have the best of all prepping worlds - lotsa 'stuff' but ease of finding. That's the true name of the game - if someone requires a giftie to make life easier - finding it promptly and clean is the key! I don't discard with wild abandon. Anyone dumpster-diving in MY wake has slim pickings, indeed, LOL!

Essie, another gem, and I can't wait for Parts Three ff. Just this once I am profoundly grateful that you live too far away to visit me, because one look at the magnificent breadth of our chaos might send you into catatonic shock!

What haunts ME is the thought that some day what I have MAY BE ALL I WILL EVER HAVE. Who knows how valuable what is "trash" NOW may be IF? You are quite right that it is urgent for me to locate everything I need most and put it away neatly--and catalogue it. However, if we go through TEOTWAWKI, things which we have no use for now will all be of potential value to some poor refugee or repairing something? Warm clothing...an empty water jug to give someone a priceless gallon of pure, fresh water...we South'n gals grew up on tales of living through the scorched earth policy.

Give me some time and I can probably come up for other excuses for being untidy, disorderly, and slovenly! Hugs, Linda
